Dante = (don-tay) 13th cenury Italian poet famous for "The Divine Comedy"
Bop = (bop) A reference to “Hillbilly Bop”, one of the early names for the mixture of Country and R&B, now called “Rock and Roll”
Dante's Bop is a quintet based in Southeastern Wisconsin. We have been performing since the late 90's. Our music is an eclectic blend of vintage Country, Rockabilly, Pop and Rock standards, as well as many original compositions. Our live performances are relaxed and conversational.
